The IISER Entrance Exam questions are objective type. These are multiple-choice questions with four options. The mode of the exam is computer-based. Test-takers have to select one option. Marks per question is four. One mark will be removed for wrong answers.

IISER entrance examination is considered to be one of the finest and the toughest exams under Science stream undergraduate entrance examination as it provides the BSMS dual degree in the most reputed and research-oriented institutions across the country which is IISERs. The syllabus for Physics in IISER 2026 entrance examination is as follows: Physical World and Measurement Kinematics, Laws of Motion. Work, Energy and Power. Yes, the counselling process is quite similar. But from the previous academic session the National Testing Agency NTA introduced CUET for admission to UG courses and from this year admission to PG courses of Delhi University is done through CUET. Counselling process for Ph.D. courses will be done after DUET. Meanwhile, counselling process for UG and PG courses will be done after the result of CUET. In a similar way, qualified students will have to report to the college to complete the counselling session. However, for the 2023-24 academic year, students will have to complete the counselling session online.

At the undergraduate level, Burdwan University provides three-year B.Sc. Courses to students across various specialisations. Some of the specialisations in which B.Sc. Is provided are Anthropology, Psychology, Statistics Physiology, Zoology Mathematics, Nutrition, Micro-Biology, Geology, Computer Science, and others. Burdwan University admission to the B.Sc. Programme is done on the basis of merit. The eligibility criteria for the B.Sc. And related specialisations is Class 12 with a minimum of 30% to 50% aggregate. The fee for B.Sc. Is INR 1,480 to INR 1 Lacs, depending on the specialisation.

The IISER Entrance Exam syllabus is in tune with the Class 11 and 12 Board exam syllabus. The questions in the examination are asked from four domains of the Science subject, which are Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

As per the syllabus mentioned in the information brochure of IISER, it is observed that in the Biology subject maximum syllabus is covered from the Class 12 book. For the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, the syllabus is equally distributed in Class 11 and 12.
