Definitely, to become an assistant professor, Ph.D. is mandatory (however, it will be effective from 2021). You can apply in IIT's and NIT's and in universities. You also can apply for research work in IIT colleges. After clearing the NET Exam, you will be able to teach in a private university but to become a government lecturer or an assistant professor's job, you have to complete your doctorate degree.

Please refer the below pattern to understand the syllabus and other details regarding GGU - Entrance Exam. Bachelors in Science - Forestry. There shall be one paper of 120 minutes (2hrs) duration carrying 100 marks containing 100 multiple-choice questions. This will be divided into two sections. Section I is compulsory and will have 30 questions from Physics and 30 questions from Chemistry. Section II will have 40 questions of Maths/Bio./Agriculture/ Biotech. To get certificate for any course you need to have cleared all the courses from the previous semesters. Failing to clear any subjects will hold your certificate. I kindly request you to start preparing in the papers you have failed in order to score and recieve the certificate. Colleges may hold the degree until one point of time and later you will have to end up writings all the subjects. Kindly prepare for the exams and get your degree certificate.

For UPSC, there is no certain course or specialisation to be studied to attempt the exam. You just need to have Bachelors degree to qualify for the exam. You need to devote a lot of time. Start preparing for the exam right away. The syllabus is huge and the more you cover the better you prepare. Take a degree in which you can handle the degree and also, prepare for the exams. Do not mess up too much stress as it will trigger a bad result in handling UPSC exams.
