B.Tech has many fields. If you're interested in computers and coding then go for B.Tech (CSE or IT), and you can go for BCA too. As you're Science stream student then opting for B.Tech is a better option than any other course if you're seeking a career in technology.

The UG applications are available in VIT official portal www.vit.ac.in, fill out the application form and wait for the management to schedule you a counselling date which will be informed to you through the mail.

I am sorry, but you won't be able to get a seat in VIT Vellore at 48k rank. I would suggest you to start considering other colleges. I hope this helps.
