M.Sc biotechnology in botany is comparatively tough, thus cut off marks for M.Sc biotechnology in botany may varies every year.
It may vary from 160 to 200 out of 360 as full marks for General.
So, little bit less for some select categories.

You can go for B.Sc Biotechnology or B.Tech Biotechnology after your class 12th with PCM. It might become quite difficult to survive in biotechnology, because a PCM student is unaware of basic concepts of biology which are roots of biotechnology. Biotechnology is nothing but technical biology, where we use technology to develop or manipulate the nature's creation. In other words with help of technology we exploit natures creation for the betterment of human life. Go for B.Tech in Biotechnology. The three-year B.Sc. Course is conducted as any other Science subject and the students can go for the M.Sc. Course and take up research later.
