The cutoff for Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (University of Delhi) is different for different courses. While the cut-off for B.A. (Hons.) English was 660, that of B.A. (Hons.) Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, part of the University of Delhi, is also pretty well known for its strong Commerce and Humanities programs. Among the best courses here is B Com (Hons), known for good teachers and high academic standards. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi conducts admission for the B.A. programme mainly through the merit of Class 12th. But for the 2024 academic year, the college is likely to start accepting scores from CUET which has replaced conventional cutoffs based on Class 12 results. The student has to appear for specific entrance exam and the marks in CUET would decide the criteria of eligibility for taking admission.

For general category students, the candidate must have cleared 12th board exams and should have scored a minimum 50-55% marks in the mathematics or biology Physics chemistry group depending upon the stream on B.Sc.
