Sharda University UP NEET PG cutoff 2026 depends on the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, the total number of test takers, etc. 

The Sharda University cutoff 2026 regarding the NEET PG examination will be published for admission to the MD and MS courses among different Home State quota categories. The cutoff is usually released in the form of opening and closing ranks. 

In 2025, for the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 770 to 8246. For more details, students can click here

Sharda University cutoff 2025 for the MS and MD courses was declared for admission based on the NEET PG entrance exam, followed by the UP NEET PG counselling process. The cutoff was published for various home state quotas. 

For the General HS category, admissions were closed at a rank of 8246 for several MS and MS courses. Students can refer to the table below to know the last round cutoff for this category, sorted by the most to the least competitive courses.

To get into Sharda University for the MBBS and BDS courses, students have to appear in the NEET UG entrance exam and then in the UP NEET counselling process. To qualify for the exam, students have to get at least 55% in Class 12. So yes, with a 70% percentile in Class 12, you are eligible to sit for the exam. Final admission will depend on the counselling process.

To get a seat at Sharda University for the UG-level medical courses, students have to first attempt the NEET UG entrance exam and then appear for the UP NEET counselling process to be considered eligible for admission. The cutoff is usually released in the form of ranks for different Home State categories. 

The cutoff is published for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. For the MBBS course, admission for the General HS category candidates was closed at a rank of 313983. On the other hand, for the BDS course, admission was capped a rank of 80896

No, to gain admission to the MBA course at this university, candidates have to either attempt the CAT or other accepted exams (MAT, SUAT, etc.) and then appear in the  Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. 

Students are shortlisted for the GD and PI rounds based on their performance in the accepted entrance exam. Students who clear both these rounds are then offered a seat. 

There is no direct admission at Sharda University based on the CAT entrance exam.

Sharda University is a Tier 2 Engineering institute in terms of its BTech programmes based on Relative factors include the infrastructure of the universities, the faculty available, opportunity for career growth, placement opportunities, etc. as well as history and pedigree.

However Sharda University is rising towards the upper-echelons of Tier-2 and is a great choice for students who missed the cutoff for one of the more competitive IITs or NITs.

Yes, one can do BTech from Sharda University and make it worth their while with course offering good ROI with fees of ₹ 5.72 L - 13.6 L while the highest package latest drive belonged to a graduate of the BTech programme who achieved ₹ 1.7 Cr international package from Amazon.
Further the university has strong industry linkages promising a consistent placement rate of above 90% for BTech graduates.
