Sharda University rankings have been released by several agencies and bodies in 2025. The Times Higher Education (THE) 2025 has placed the university at the 59th spot for the “World University” category. Further, Times B-School Survey 2025 has placed Sharda University Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh at the 4th spot in the “Management” category.

Sharda University UP provides admissions to various courses via the entrance-test basis. Interested students can take admission by appearing for the various statewide and nationally-held entrance exams for various courses. Hence, direct admissions are not provided for Sharda University as such. Accepted exams at the university include CUET, JEE Main, SUAT, etc.

Sharda University Noida can be reached via diff. modes of transportation. Students opting for rail travel can arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, and take a roughly 45-min. drive to reach university campus. From IGI Airport, it takes a driving time of around 1 hr 15 min. drive to reach campus of Sharda University.

Sharda University admission can be obtained on the basis of entrance test. Sharda University Greater Noida course admissions are held on the basis of various prescribed entrance tests. Students must ensure their eligibility by qualifying their previous qualifying examination and appearing for nationally-held entrance exams such as CUET, JEE Main, SUAT, etc.

To get admission to a four-year BTech programme at Sharda University, there is a minimum qualifying requirement that needs to be satisfied by the aspirants. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with 60% of aggregate. They are required to pass Class 12 in the Science stream by obtaining a minimum of 70% aggregate overall and acquiring 60% aggregate in PCM & Computer Science. Further, they have also passed Class 12 with a 50% aggregate in the Mathematics subject. There should not be any gap in passing Class 10 & 12. These are all the mandatory requirements to apply for at Sharda University BTech course.

Sharda University offers a full-time BCom at the UG level. Admission to the course is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. As per the specified eligibility criteria, candidates seeking admission to BCom at Sharda University must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% with Commerce or Mathematics as a subject. Hence, Mathematics is not compulsory for BCom (Hons) admission at the university, provided that the applicants have passed Class 12 with Commerce.
