There is no proper syllabus criteria for the particular topics in IPU CET but the topics from which the chances are absolute high the questions will be asked are as follows. Chemistry being the most scoring and time consuming need to be focused first with the topics. P Block, D block, equilibrium, biomolecules, polymers, organic chemistry of alkanes alkenes and alkynes, halo compounds and nitrogen containing compounds. Mole concept, atomic structure, thermodyanamics and periodic properties of elements. Physics, waves, kinematics, fluids, SHM, ray optics, NLM, friction circular motion, rotational motion are some of the important topics.

You should practice mock tests daily and while solving the questions always keep in mind that you have only some limited time to solve the mock test. This will help you to score good marks in the examination. By practicing the mock test, you can understand the exam pattern and accordingly manage your time to solve the question. Make a proper time-table and prepare accordingly. Study for at least five to six hours a day. Add some time for breaks and other activities which can help you to refresh. The batch of 2017 from mining engineering of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology was left without a job and so the branch offers hundred percent placements in the college. Suitability for girls will totally depend on the kind of girl you are. If you are one of those pretty 'I won't get my hands dirty with grease' kind of girls, then it's not for you. Because jobs generally might not be in an air conditioned cabin initially. The scope lies that many big PSUs and private manufacturing companies hire mechanical engineers. But if you can't make it through campus placements then you will have to do really well in GATE which is not that easy for all. As far as I know, till date for academic year 2016-17, total about 760 plus students have been placed in different companies. Many IT, CORE companies come for placement in our college having satisfactory annual packages. For Mechatronics Branch:-
There is a 100 % placement record of this college. The average package provided by this college is 4 lacs. The highest package provided by this college is 33 lacs. 100% placement will be there. Many companies will come to our college starting from 3 Lacs per annum to 24 Lacs per annum. Not only in IT companies, our students will also get place in many core companies
The college have a good placement record. 100% of the students are placed. All the IT companies Wipro, Accenture, CTS, etc. Come every year of the campus. They provide a package around 2-3L per annum. Amazon, Flipkart, Dell offer around 6-8L per annum. The highest offer was 18L per annum buy DE shaw. "Treat Science like your best friend" and always focus on the chapter and try to overcome all the weak portion firstly which give you boost up to your confidence. Read your textbook carefully so that you don't miss any information. Text Book NCERT is the main arms for a fight with UPSEE question. As all question comes from your textbook, the syllabus is so large that it becomes difficult for one to cover all prescribed topics. Thus try to emphasize more on accuracy rather than quantity. As per I know, till date for the academic year 2016-17, a total of about 760 plus students have been placed in different companies. Many IT, core companies come for placement in our college having satisfactory annual packages. The college offer guaranteed placement assistance to all its students. Last year companies like IBM, Infosys, Electromech, Gabriel, Forbes Marshal, Godrej & Boyce. Average Package is 2.1 Lacs and the highest up to 9 Lacs, For chemical engineering. Majorly students have got IT based roles and very few have got core companies in pharmaceutical sector.
