B.Com from such a college is not gonna affect your IIM dream. Iims even give extra marks for those non-engineers graduates. So, it's the best option to go for SRCC and study for CAT in free times.

The admission process of SRCC is entirely online and is through the centralized application system of DU university. The registration fees are listed below:
Gen/OBC Category INR 500/-
SC/ST/PWD INR 250/-
Students can register through DU website by creating an account, filling the required forms such as Parents, Bank, Communication, Academic details etc. Then, they are required to upload a scanned passport-size photo and pay the required fees to complete the registration process.

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is one of the foremost commerce colleges in India, which was founded in the year 1926 in New Delhi. It is one of the best institutes for the higher learning of Economics and Commerce.
Eligibility
The interested candidates need to have 10+2 certificate of CBSE/ISCE board or an equivalent with the minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
The candidates must pass in five subjects, including four elective subjects and one language.
