Yes, you can get direct admission at Sikkim University. Admission to Sikkim University is either merit-based or first-come-first-served. Admission to courses like B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.A (Hons) are based on CUET UG scores, while admission to courses like MBA, MA, M.Com, MCA is provided by the merit list curated based on 12th as well as graduation marks and CUET PG. For admission to all courses in UG and PG, Central Admission Test (CAT) is conducted at eight venues. MBA admissions are based on CAT or MAT or CMAT scores along with scores in a bachelor’s degree.

No, Admission to PhD programme shall be in the beginning of each academic year and shall be done once in a year along with admission to other programmes of the University.
A. All applicants for Ph.D programme shall appear in the written entrance test followed by an interview to be conducted by the concerned Department.
