Yes, there is no differentiation in the course curriculum of MMS and PGDBM students. Classes, professors, guest lectures are same for both the courses. Classes are segregated as per your specialization as you move onto second semester. Only difference is, with PGDBM you can't do Ph.D in your required field.

AC hostel is not provided. You have rent a room or stay in as PG.

This is partially true as each company has their know recruiting guidelines. However, companies recruit inexperienced candidates who have worked hard during the MBA academic years. So concentrate on what stream you want to pursue and make your fundamentals strong. In the past, even highest placements in a batch have been secured by freshers.
