For All India Seats there is no reservation or any MS/OMS categorization.
Rank cannot be considered as the cutoff. It just so happens to be the last person with rank 41, who was alloted a seat.
Seat allotment is facilitated through percentile only.
Cutoff was 99.92 percentile.

It all depends upon the performance of the students during the academic years.
Some companies preferred candidates with work experience because the job profile is such that the candidate might have work in the related job profile before or has basic understanding of the fundamentals.
Some preferred freshers as companies want fresh candidates who are ready to learn through the existing company's culture.
At the end, it depends upon your knowledge of the required field and communication skills (for presentations, GDPI, interviews ). These are the most important aspect of any B-school academic years and placements.

We had 100% placement last year. Highest package was Rs 16.4 lac and average was Rs 10.22. This year too we had 100% placement. The placement brochure is yet to be made.
