According to the data available on thier official websites, SVIMS is more expensive than GNVS Institute of Management. The fees for the Master of Management Studies (MMS) course at SVIMS are very expensive, while GNVS Institute of Management offers 50% tuition fees reimbursement for students having annual family income less than 8 Lacs and merit cum means based scholarship to the students belonging to different courses.

- For MD/MS and DM/M.Ch programs, admission is based on the score in NEET PG and NEET SS, respectively
- For MBBS admission, scores secured in the NEET UG exam are considered
- For some UG courses, admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2 followed by university-based counseling, and for some PG courses, admission is based on the rank in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET

SVIMS (Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences) is a good option for pursuing medical education in Andhra Pradesh. According to student reviews, the college has excellent faculty and provides ample opportunities for practical learning through clinical postings and treating patients. The course curriculum is up-to-date, but the practical equipment is not updated and is old. The college does not offer placements, but students get internships.
