SITEEE

The maximum marks in the SITEEE exam for the maths section is 60 marks. Mathematics holds the highest weightage in the question paper. There will be 30 MCQs, each for 2 marks.

The best books to complete the SITEEE syllabus for maths are NCERTs, All in one Mathematics by Arihant publication, RS Aggrawal, RD Sharma and HC Verma. Candidates must prepare the NCERTs to form their foundation and follow any one of these reference books. 

The SITEEE syllabus for mathematics includes all the topics of the CBSE board for classes 11th and 12th.

The physics section will hold 30 marks weigtage in the SITEEE question paper. There will be 15 MCQs out of the class 11th and 12th physics syllabus of CBSE, each of 2 marks.

The complete SITEEE exam syllabus is important. However, students must pay extra attention to a select few topics of the SITEEE physics syllabus like Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy, and Power, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics (Ray and Wave), the Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter, Atoms and Nuclei, and Semiconductors.

The SITEEE syllabus for physics is based on the class 11tha dn 12th syllabus of the CBSE curriculum.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the SITEEE exam however, candidates can attempt the SITEEE exm only twice a year as it is held only two times, annually. 

The SITEEE 2026 question paper will comprise of MCQs. There will be four options for each question and candidates will have to select the most appropriate answer for each question.

The total marks for SITEEE 2026 is 120 marks. A good attempt in the SITEEE exam can be considered for 90 or above marks.

As per the SITEEE marking scheme, each question is of 2 marks. Physics and Chemistry are for 30 marks each, while maths of for 60 marks. There is no negative marking for any incorrect question.
