SMU - Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok Admission Process

Sikkim Manipal University admission is open for both merit and entrance-based. For admission to some courses, the university conducts separate entrance tests, and Personal Interview rounds to select the candidates. 

Sikkim Manipal University Gangtok offers admission to courses such as MBA on the basis of entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ University Entrance Exam or other equivalent national level examinations valid for the admission to MBA. Candidates must meet the cutoff criteria by securing valid scores in the selected entrance exam and qualify for the group discussion and personal interview. After qualifying all the rounds, candidates will be shortlisted for the final admission. Candidates can apply for the admission to SMU Gangtok by filling out the application form on the official website of the University.

The last date to apply for the course (BSc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied Psychology) was June 10, 2025. Further, BSc in Nursing application submission deadline was July 15 2025 and July 25 2025 was the last date for BSc in Medical Biotechnology.
