The college shortlists candidates for admission to BE/ BTech programme based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. For admission to PG courses under Management Quota, aspirants need to pass entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu, Chennai for Management Quota. 

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) course offered at SNS College of Nursing is provided for a duration of four years. The course is divided into eight semesters of six months each.
