The SoET, PDPU accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech programme. The admission to the BTech programme is based on the merit list, which is prepared based on the JEE Main score. The detailed application form is made available after email verification. Admission to seats will be determined by merit, reflecting the ranks/marks attained in the JEE (Main) examination. The application process for both All India and NRI seats will be conducted online. Any NRI seats left vacant in a specific branch will be incorporated into the Open category of All India seats for that particular branch.

No, aspirants can take admission in M.Tech programme of SoET PDEU without GATE score also. The university accepts admission for non-GATE qualified candidates in Phase-II. However, the application process is common. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. The merit list for such aspirants are prepared based on PI performance. Candidate who has applied for more than one branch has to appear in personal interview for all the respective branches separately
