The SoET, PDPU accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech programme. The admission to the BTech programme is based on the merit list, which is prepared based on the JEE Main score. The detailed application form is made available after email verification. Admission to seats will be determined by merit, reflecting the ranks/marks attained in the JEE (Main) examination. The application process for both All India and NRI seats will be conducted online. Any NRI seats left vacant in a specific branch will be incorporated into the Open category of All India seats for that particular branch.

The BTech course fee at SoET, PDEU is INR 9.6 lakh. The fee components include tuition fee, hostel and one-time fee. The one-time fee is INR 13,000 which includes one-time payment includes Library Deposit and Security Deposit.

No, aspirants can take admission in M.Tech programme of SoET PDEU without GATE score also. The university accepts admission for non-GATE qualified candidates in Phase-II. However, the application process is common. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. The merit list for such aspirants are prepared based on PI performance. Candidate who has applied for more than one branch has to appear in personal interview for all the respective branches separately

Candidates who have complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects can apply for SoET PDEU M.Tech course. The subject requirement varies specialisation-wise for M.Tech programme. Aspirants applying for M.Tech must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

SoET PDEU admission to M.Tech course is based on GATE score. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. Phase-I of the admission is for GATE qualified candidates. Non-GATE-qualified candidates can participate in Phase-II of the admission.
The university prepares a merit list for GATE qualified and non-GATE qualified candidates based on performance in personal interview round and GATE score. Once selected, candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
