Sorry to say but in India, there is no such engineering course. You can have certification course from some academies and institute in Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore. You can also go for Diploma of 1 year. But B.Tech is not there in India for sound engineering.

More scope in sound engineering is pro DJ, because nowadays mostly youngsters are addicted to DJ, when compared to others and second scope is MST music production because you may get chances in cinema field industry.
