The university does not release data about its acceptance rate. however, as per some unofficial sources, University of Adelaide acceptance rate is around 47%, which means out of every 100 applications, only 47 are selected, which makes it fairly competitive to get selected into the university.

The university gives preference to students having higher grades or have exceptional academic or research experience. Hence, having higher grades increases your chance of getting selected at University of Adelaide.

Jindal School of Art and Architecture offers Jindal Adelaide Architecture Pathway (JAAP) in a 3+1+2 years format. To apply for this course, candidates are required to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. The criteria is that the candidates must have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised board. To take admission to the University of South Australia Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honors) course, the applicants must have passed class 12 from the recognised boards and achieved 65% in the best four subjects. Furthermore, students must meet the English language entry requirements. IELTS score with 6.0 overall marks and 6.0 in Reading and Writing are required.   • Undergraduate: To pursue undergraduate courses from the University of South Australia, Indian applicants are required to have an All India Senior School Certificate / Indian School Certificate / Higher Secondary School Certificate / Senior Secondary School Certificate / Pre-University Certificate.
