Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) in Mysore, India admits students based on merit, as determined by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). For undergraduate courses, candidates must have: 

1.Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET).

2.Passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

3.Cutoff marks may differ for different categories of candidates (General, OBC, SC, ST).  College have reserved seats or relaxation in cutoffs for certain categories.

In 2022 and 2021, the last round closing cutoff for B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was 3313 and 3966, respectively for the General All India category students. 

In 2023, the BTech cutoff for Computer Science Engineering was 2323 for the OBC category. 

The 2023 KCET cutoff for the general category at SJCE was 2408–41940 rank. The cutoff also depends on the All India quota or Home State. For example, in 2022, the closing rank for BTech under the general category for the all India quota was 41658. In 2023, it increased to 42285.

Details of minimum cutoff for MBA at SJCE Mysore 2023-

1.Some colleges in Mysore require a minimum qualifying mark of 50% for unreserved candidates, and 45% for reserved category students. 

2.The minimum cutoff for the MBA programme at SRM Ramapuram in 2023 is 50 percentile for the general category students in the CAT entrance. 

3.The University of Mysore cutoff for 2022 states that candidates looking for admission to MBA are expected to score around 9209 for the General category in Karnataka PGCET for admission to Yuvarajas College. 

4.To be eligible for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) Mysore, candidates must have a recognized bachelor's degree of at least three years in duration.

5.They must also have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in all years of the degree examinations.

6.For the 2024 MBA/PGDM admissions, SJCE Mysore accepts the Karnataka PGCET exam.

7.Some colleges in Mysore have a minimum qualifying mark of 50% for unreserved candidates and 45% for reserved category students. SJCE take this type of qualifying marks for reserved and unreserved students.Candidates who are waiting for their bachelor's degree results are provisionally eligible for MBA admission.
