Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) in Mysore, India admits students based on merit, as determined by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). For undergraduate courses, candidates must have:
1.Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET).
2.Passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
3.Cutoff marks may differ for different categories of candidates (General, OBC, SC, ST). College have reserved seats or relaxation in cutoffs for certain categories.

1.Some colleges in Mysore require a minimum qualifying mark of 50% for unreserved candidates, and 45% for reserved category students.
2.The minimum cutoff for the MBA programme at SRM Ramapuram in 2023 is 50 percentile for the general category students in the CAT entrance.
3.The University of Mysore cutoff for 2022 states that candidates looking for admission to MBA are expected to score around 9209 for the General category in Karnataka PGCET for admission to Yuvarajas College.
