Sri Krishna College of Engineering Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the BTech programme offered by Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) include the following: 

• Candidates must pass the higher secondary examination (10+2) recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu, or any equivalent examination. They should achieve a minimum of 45% marks overall (40% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate in subjects such as Mathematics and Physics. 
• Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with a maximum of two attempts for general three attempts for the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST communities and two attempts for candidates belonging to the OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ and BTC communities. 
• The upper age limit is 21 years on 1st July of the academic year (Relaxation up to three years for candidates belonging to OBC/ BCM/ MBC/ EBC and BT communities and five years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST communities.

For the BTech course (Lateral entry)

The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the three-year Diploma or four year sandwich Diploma course in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category).

With Virtusa Corporation as a partner, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) has introduced the five-year integrated M.Tech curriculum in computer Science and engineering. The only independent school selected to form an agreement with Virtusa to provide this course is SKCET. The syllabus and curriculum are created with the purpose of preparing students for the workforce by meeting industry standards. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 60% in their Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology from an accredited university in order to be considered for admission to the M.Tech programme at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. They must also pass the GATE entrance exam in order to be eligible.

The two-year postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology is offered. There are 120 seats available for the course. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology has a total tuition cost of INR 35,000.
