1. Go out make some friends its not always that you've to cage yourself and study all the time, sometimes having a break is also necessary in one's life.
2. Try to attend as much classes as you can, it helps not only to gain knowledge but also helps to keep you engaged because I've seen some of my friends not attending the classes and end up being a lazy frog.
3. Take part in sports events, cultural events, other competitions (DU also let its students to take part in cross college competitions so, you are never out of these opportunities)
4. Join a society according to your interest.

Yes, Sri Venkateswara College does offer seat reservations for certain categories of students. There is a quota for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), Kashmir migrant (km). There is also a quota for students from economically weaker sections (EWS). In addition, the college has a separate quota for students with disabilities (PWD) and also for those who are from sports backgrounds and have represented the state, country, etc.

Generally, if student fails in internal exams, they have to put some extra efforts in the written exam to pass, it is a Plus point which helps in scoring good SGPA.

72 (boys)+72 (girls) =144 seats
for the students of last semester the allotment was made on the basis of number of marks scored in CUET 2022. Fees for hostel and mess is between 9100-10000* (making it one of the most costliest hostel charges in entire du)
* ( The fees is subject to be changed almost every year)
