SSC CHSL Eligibility

Hi there, The SSC CHSL age limit for the posts has been set at a minimum 18 years and a maximum of 27 years. The minimum educational criteria to write the SSC CHSL exam is to have passed the 12ths standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised university board. SSC conducts the CHSL exam : Combined Higher Secondary Level exam- to recruit candidates for various posts such as LDC, JSA, PA, SA and DEO in different ministries/departments/offices of the Government of India. It includes non-technical and clerical jobs in various ministries and central government officers including the department of post. The SSC CHSL exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the following posts.
1. Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)
2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
3. Postal Assistant (PA)
4. Sorting Assistant (SA)
5. Data Entry Operator (DEO)

It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type such as Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, T rends, Figural Analogy, Space
Orientation, etc. English Language
The questions would be on Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/ Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting
MS-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, etc. Quantitative Aptitude
It would include questions on topics such as Number
Systems, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Statistical Charts, etc. General Awareness
Questions are designed to test the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and it's application to society.
