The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam has 100 questions. The questions are asked from English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each section contains 25 questions of 2 marks each.

On the other hand, SSC CHSL Tier 2 is objective type as well, except for Module-II of Section-3, which is a Typing or Skill Test.
