Candidates need to pay the SSC CHSL form correction fees to make changes to the application form. The SSC CHSL correction fee of INR 200 needs to be paid for correcting for the first time, and INR 500 needs to be paid for making corrections for the second time.

Candidates can make corrections to SSC CHSL application form using the process below-
- Visit ssc.gov.in.
- Go to the Login link.
- Enter the registration number and password.
- Navigate to the 'My Applications' tab.
- Click on the 'Re-Apply' link under the SSC CHSL recruitment box.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Submit the corrected application form.
- Pay the form correction fees or charges.
- Save the confirmation page.

The SSC CHSL exam is conducted in two tiers, that is, Tier 1 and Tier 2. The marks scored by candidates are normalised by the commission. Such normalised scores are used to determine the final merit list and cut-off marks. Have a look at the SSC CHSL exam duration for Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam below:

Candidates do not need to upload scanned images of their photographs on the SSC CHSL application form. The new application module on the website- ssc.gov.in captures live photos of candidates. For capturing SSC CHSL live photo, candidates need to have a webcam on a computer/ laptop or an Android device for capturing live photo. Candidates need to fulfill the following requirements for live photo.
- Find a place with good light and plain background.
- Camera should be at eye level.
- Position yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight.
- Do not wear a cap, mask, glasses or spectacles.

The SSC CHSL 2024 recruitment dates are announced by the Commission. The SSC CHSL vacancy 2024 will be notified on April 2, 2024, with the release of official notification. The SSC CHSL application 2024 will be carried out online from April 2 to May 1, 2024. However, the Commission has not announced any vacancy details as of now. Candidates need to carry the SSC CHSL admit card to the allotted exam centre on the day of the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates also need to carry three passport size photos and photo ID proof. The official website informs, “Candidates are advised to keep sufficient copies of the same photograph, which was uploaded in the online application form, with them till the completion of the entire examination process to facilitate easy identification.” Documents that can be carried as a photo ID proof are:
