The in-hand salary of the SSC CHSL posts are different for different posts. There are deductions made in the gross salary and then the in-hand salary is calculated.

The monthly salary of the SSC CHSL posts differs from post to post. For Pay Level-4 posts, the initial monthly salary in tier-I (class X) city will be INR 40,193 and for the post having pay level-5 will be INR 45,543. The General Awareness section of the SSC CHSL Tier I exam is generally moderate in terms of the difficulty level. The section contains questions from current affairs, General Science, General Knoweldge and others. Candidates are advised to thoroughly prepare the General Awareness section and revise the syllabus as per prescribed by the Commission.

Yes, candidates need to pay INR 100 per question as the fee for challenging the SSC CHSL answer key. The Staff Selection Commission first releases a tentative SSC CHSL answer key. In case any candidate is not satisfied with the answer, he or she can challenge the same it in the prescribed format. However, to raise objections against one SSC CHSL question, candidates have to pay INR 100 as the fee in online mode.

No, SSC CHSL result is announced based on the final answer key of the exam. The marks of the candidates are normalised. The answer key is very important to know the official answers to the questions.
