No, the SSC CHSL 2025 exam pattern has not been changed. Earlier, the Commission changed the exam pattern for the SSC CHSL exam in 2022 to expedite the recruitment process. SSC CHSL exam is now be conducted in two tiers as mentioned below: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Tier 1 Examination consists of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions are set in English and Hindi. There is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. According to the SSC CHSL official notification, applicants must be between the age group of 18 to 27 years to be eligible to apply for the SSC CHSL exam, as per the cutoff date prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The upper age limit for the general category is 27 years, Whereas reserved category candidates are given age relaxation in the upper age limit. The SC/ ST category candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC category candidates et 3 years and PwD category get 10 years relaxation.

The official notification mentions all the eligibility conditions for the SSC CHSL exam. The SSC CHSL eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfil are: A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, a person of Indian origin. The last date to fill the online form was June 8, 2023. Candidates who want to appear for the exam needed to fill out the SSC CHSL application form and pay the application fee.
