SSC MTS Exam Notification

The Staff Selection Commission will mention the SSC MTS application details, the number of vacancies, syllabus, pattern and the rules and regulations which will govern the exam. The SSC MTS notification will serve as the ready reckoner for the whole exam process. 

The SSC MTS applications will close on July 24, 2025. The Commission will conduct the SSC MTS 2025 from September 20 to October 24, 2025.

The SSC MTS 2025 notification has been released online on June 26, 2025. The Commission mentioned all the important information related to the SSC MTS exam 2025 such as vacancies, eligibility, age limit, syllabus and pattern. The candidates are advised to read the official notification to know all the eligibility criteria related to the exam. The Commission notified 1075 SSC MTS Havaldar Vacancies in the official notification. The SSC MTS 2025 vacancies will be released later.

The SSC MTS 2025 applications also started with the release of official notification.

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC MTS 2025 notification on its official website - ssc.gov.in on June 26, 2025. The Commission released only 1089 vacancies for the SSC MTS Havaldar Posts and 4375 vacancies for SSC MTS Posts. In addition to that, the Commission also mentioned the eligibility criteria, important dates and the rules for the exam in the official notification. The candidates should read the official notification carefully to know the intricacies of the exam.

The last date to apply for the SSC MTS 2025 was July 24, 2025.

Indeed, the 2024 SSC MTS Havaldar Notification is now available. On June 27, 2024, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the announcement, enabling qualified applicants to take the Havaldar and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) exams. The exam was set to take place between September 30 and November 14, 2024, and the application period was open until August 3, 2024. The purpose of this test is to find applicants for Group 'C' non-gazetted, non-ministerial jobs in a variety of departments. The Staff Selection Commission has recently moved to a new website - ssc.gov.in. After the migration to new websites, the candidates were required to create their one-time registration profile so that they can apply for the SSC exams. After such migration, all the SSC notifications were delayed. The latest example of such delay was SSC CHSL exam.

The candidates can expected a delay of one week in the release of official SSC MTS 2024 notification. It is a probability only and we cannot ensure such things.

SSC MTS exam is conducted online only as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE). The Commission conducts the SSC MTS exam every year to recruit candidates for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). The Commission does not mention any limit to the number of attempts. The candidates can appear for the exam any number of times till they fulfil the age criteria. The Commission also provide age relaxation to the reserved category candidates.

The SSC MTS 2025 exam will be conducted from October/November 2025.
