SSC is the Central Recruitment Agency that conducts the SSC MTS exam. It is a national-level exam conducted by SSC for recruitment of candidates in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various ministries, departments and offices of the Government of India. - Citizen of India or a person of Indian Origin
- The subject of Nepal/Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
All candidates other than Indian citizens will be required to take the no-objection certificate from the Government of India before the appointment.
SSC MTSĀ Qualifications
The candidate must have passed the Matriculation exam from any recognised board/institution.Ā The candidates appearing in their matriculation exam can fill out the application form, but their final result must be declared before the said date otherwise they will not be considered eligible for the exam.
SSC MTS Age LimitĀ
SSC revised the age limit for the Havaldar post. Now the upper age limit for the Havaldar post is 27 years.

Negative Marking in SSC MTS Paper 1Ā
SSC MTS paper 1 has a negative marking of the quantum of one by four. SSC MTS 2023 Answer Key
The Commission will release the SSC MTS 2023 tentative answer key within a week from the last date of CBE exam. The final answer key will be released online after the result. The Commission will conduct the SSC MTS paper 1 in April 2023 so the SSC MTS 2023 tentative answer key is expected in April/May 2023. Step 1: Fill SSC MTS application form

Step 2: Download SSC MTS admit card
SSC regional websites released the application status and admit cards for the candidates. SSC MTS admit card had all the important details about the candidate (such as name, roll number and category) and the exam (such as exam centre name and address).
Step 3: SSC MTS Paper-I

Step 4: SSC MTS Paper-I Result
SSC released the paper-I result within 45 days of the exam.
Step 5: PET/PSTĀ
The candidates who cleared paper 2 were called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).Ā

The candidates need to score equal to or more than the category cutoff to get promoted to the next tier of the exam. SSC MTS result 2021 (paper 2) is expected to be released soon because the Commission conducted the PET/PST from November 21 to 25, 2022,Ā and the designated authority will conduct the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) of the candidates who opted for the Havaldar post. The Commission conducted the SSC MTS paper 2 across the nation on November 6. The Commission changed the SSC MTS paper 2 requirement and the candidates were asked to write either one short essay or one letter. The duration of SSC MTS paper 2 was also reduced to 30 minutes.
