SSC will conduct the PET/PST exam for the Havaldar posts. SSC will provide exemptions to the candidates belonging to different categories as mentioned below:

The total number of vacancies for the SSC MTS 2023 exam is 1,558 which was contrary to the expectation of high number of vacancies in the exam.

SSC MTS and Havaldar 2024 - Qualifications Required

The candidate must have passed the Matriculation exam from any recognised board/institution. The candidates appearing in their matriculation exam can fill out the application form, but their final result must be declared before the said date otherwise they will not be considered eligible for the exam. It implies that the candidate must have passed Matriculation on the last date of SSC MTS application.

The Commission conducts the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) for the Havaldar post. The Commission mentions the requirements for the PET/PST in the official notification. Besides this, the commission also mentions that some categories of PwD are exempted from PET/PST. There is Walking event in the SSC MTS PET. In SSC MTS PST exam, the Commission mentions the physical measurements related to the male and female candidates. Cycling is removed from the PET.

The SSC MTS and Havaldar exam will be conducted in July-August 2024, as per the exam pattern shown above. The new exam pattern has increased the weightage of General Awareness and English in the selection process. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.

Negative Marking in SSC MTS and Havaldar Exam

SSC MTS and Havaldar paper 1 has a negative marking of the quantum of one by four. It implies that the one-by-fourth marks (of the marks assigned to that question) of the candidates will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked in the SSC MTS and Havaldar answer key online. The candidates should note that the Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS exam pattern in 2022. The Commission dropped the tier 2 exam from the exam process and now there is only one online exam which decides the selection of the candidate.  The total marks of the SSC MTS 2024 Tier 1 exam will be 270. The Document Verification process will be carried out by the indenting user department. Yes, the Staff Selection Commission released final SSC MTS result 2023 on October 18. The Commission selected 11,255 candidates for the DV and DME. SSC MTS cutoff is the marks required to get selected in the exam in a particular category. It is the mark of the last selected candidate in a particular category in a particular state. The candidates shared that the Commission asked repeated questions too in the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam. 
The candidates also shared that the expected cutoff for the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam 2023 will be high because the number of vacancies in the SSC MTS 2023 exam is around 1500 only.

Q:   Is the SSC MTS 2023 Application Status released?

A:

Yes, the Staff Selection Commission's Karnataka and Kerala region released the SSC KKR application status on August 8. The SSC KKR is the first region to release the SSC MTS 2023 application status. The candidates can check their application status to know whether their application is accepted or rejected. In case of rejection, the Commission will provide the reason for rejection.

The candidates should check their application status to know their exam date and consequently the admit card release date. SSC MTS 2023 exam will be conducted from September 1 to 29.

 

Q:   Is the SSC MTS 2021 Marks and Scorecard released?

A:
No, the SSC MS 2021 marks and scorecard will be released soon. The Commission postponed their release and did not mention the date of such release. The SSC MS 2021 result was released on February 13 and the marks were scheduled to be released on February 28. The Commission was expected to release the SSC MS marks and scorecard on March 7. The candidates can download the SSC MS 2021 marks and scorecard till March 20 from the official website of SSC. Nic. In.
 

Q:   Is the SSC MTS paper 2 removed?

A:

Yes, the Commission changed the SSC MTS exam pattern in the latest notification. The Commission also changed the SSC MTS exam syllabus and exam pattern. Now, there will be two stages in the SSC MS exam. SSC MTS Exam and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) only. The Document Verification (DV) is also outsourced to the department of appointment to expedite the exam process.
