VIT is better than SSN in terms of placements, faculty, infrastructure and education. You will get more exposure in VIT rather than SSN. VIT's ranking is on top as compared to SSN. But as per fees structure SSN is more affordable than VIT. Hence for more experience and good placement opportunity you should go for VIT.

You may have a chance in getting SSN college as you've a good percentage. Rest the quota category will get more benefits.

Yes, you can. But there are less chances if you go through the TNEA counseling and hence, you need to apply separately, for which you also need to clear an entrance exam. The fee structure would be slightly higher if you go this way.
