The international students at St Clair may be enrolled in a programme of study that has a co-op or unpaid work placement. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requires the students to have a valid co-op work permit before they can start their work placement experience. The college also includes whether the student has a placement component through the international Letter of Acceptance (LOA). If the student has received a LOA which indicates a placement, then the student should apply for a co-op work permit.
