Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Stevens Institute of Technology are very well known institutions in USA and have their own strengths as well as weaknesses. According to the US News and World Report Rankings 2023, Stevens Institute of Technology ranks #83 in Best National Universities. Whereas, Worcester Polytechnic Institute ranks #67 in the same category. On the basis of rankings, the WPI has an upper hand.

Yes, Stevens Institute of Technology's 55 acre residential campus in Hoboken, New Jersey provides housing facilities to students and gives them unique opportunity to become a part of a vibrant community that values learning, service and friendship. There are seven unique residence halls located on Stevens campus that are home to UG students during the academic year. These residence halls encourages a rich social atmosphere that complements the university's intellectual, academic environment. International students who are planning to take full-time admission at the Stevens Institute of Technology are required to submit their GMAT or GRE scores while applying to the university. Part-time applicants to the master's programme are not required to submit test scores with their applications. If the candidate has a GMAT/GRE test score, then they may include their scores with their application. There is no minimum GMAT/GRE requirement at Stevens.   • UG degree from an accredited institution

  • TOEFL score of 4 orIELTS score of 7

  • GMAT or GRE scores

  • SOP

  • CV

  • Official transcripts for accredited schools of higher learning attended (Typically, a GPA of 3.0 or better at the bachelor's level and 3.5 or better at the master's level, are required)

  • 3 LOR

  • Evidence of prior scholarly work (this work should be written solely by the applicant; published work under sole authorship will be highly valued).

SIT offer 35 UG majors in fields like Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Medicine, etc. General entry requirements for UG courses at Stevens are mentioned below-

  • High school transcripts
  • English proficiency exam score
  • SAT/ACT score

Note- SIT has no min GPA or test score requirement. Successful applicants in recent incoming classes had avg GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 and SAT scores in range of 1400 to 1490.
