The cut- off of XAT varies from year to year depending on a number of factors like the number of participants, difficulty level of the exam and the number of seats available at the time of admissions in the college. The previous trends of XAT shows an increasing percentage of marks consecutively. SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication), Pune offers admissions to MBA on the basis of different criterion. One of the criteria mentioned for admissions is the cut off marks of exams such as MH- CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)/ CAT/ CMAT/ XAT. All of these are national level entrance test exams for admissions to different courses (specially management courses). Candidates who haven’t appeared for any of these but are planning to do so in the near future can also apply for admissions.

Established in the year 1999, the college has been ranked as an ‘A’ category among Top 50 B- Schools in India for 21 consecutive years as well as ranked in Platinum category for 6 consecutive years by AICTE- CII Industry Linked Technical Institutes 2020.
