In order to get admission, students either need to qualify for PhD Entrance Exam (PET), which is conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University at its own centres. Else, students who are CSIR UGC NET/ JRF/ GATE qualified or teacher fellowship holders or have passed MPhil from SPPU are exempted from PET exam.
