Admission to SCIT Pune's MBA programme is done through the SNAP entrance exam held by SIU. Short-listed candidates are called for subsequent rounds, such as Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT). Final shortlisting is done on the basis of performance at all these levels. Being above the cutoff and good performance in SNAP are essential for selection.

In order to be eligible for SCIT Pune MBA admission, the applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate marks of 50%. SC and ST students should have a minimum of 45% marks. Final-year students who are waiting for results can also apply. Meeting the eligibility is a prerequisite to attend the selection process.

SCIT Pune has two MBA specializations: IT Business Management and Data Sciences & Data Analytics. The two programmes are designed to integrate management studies with technical knowledge. These are industry-focused programmes, which equip students for careers in tech companies. Each programme takes two years to complete on a full-time basis.
