The SIBM Pune does consider previous academic records to a limited extent. To be eligible for admission to SIBM, you must have a minimum grade point average of 50% in your previous academic course. However, your SNAP entrance test score will be more important for your admission. The SNAP entrance test is conducted for admission to SIBM. If you scored a high percentile in this entrance test, you will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview rounds. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the SNAP, and Group Exercise scores. 1) 80% (General/Open) seats are for dependents of defence personnel. And as per merit there selection will be done.
2) 10% (Defence special category) seats are for dependents of defence personnel. This special category are for those who lost there life in war or war like operations while serving for the military or suffer 50% disability. As per merit there selection will be done.
3) 10% (open category) seats are for civilian candidate.
