NMIMS Navi Mumbai: Courses, Fees, Admission 2026, Placements, Cutoff

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Navi Mumbai accepts various entrance exams along with MHT CET. It offers various specialisation in BE like computer Science and mechanical engineering etc. There are 16 colleges that provides BE / B Tech under the institution . MHT CET is one of the most famous exams accepted by NMIMS Navi Mumbai . Students scoring 190 - 200 are considered among top 50 rankers and can get best institution on the basis of their ranks . The expected rank cutoff 2023 was 9001-1047. The cutoff can be affected by seats availability, number of students and dificulty of questions etc.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Navi Mumbai provides various B.Tech courses like B.Tech in Computer Science and Business System and BTech in Computer Engineering etc. A student need to have aggregate of 45 % in 10+2 along with required score in accepted examinations like NMIMS CET, JEE Mains, MHT CET. The registration fee for NMAT test is charged by GMAC. This amounts to INR 3000 per attempt. After the candidate has registered for NMAT test, he/she needs to register at NMIMS and fill up the registration form online. The NMIMS MBA registration fee is INR 2900.

It is compulsory for the NMIMS MBA students to spend 6-8 weeks on a summer project between the first and the second year of the NMIMS MBA. A viva is conducted at the end of the internship by the faculty mentor. It is mandatory to clear the viva for progressing to the second year.

The candidates who have given more than one preference for MBA programme or NMIMS campus in their application forms are selected based on their merit score and availability of the seats in the respective program.

The NMAT score is given a weightage of 10% in the preparation of the merit list. The competency assessment test is given the highest weightage at 60%. The scores of the Work Experience and Personal Interview are given a weightage of 15% each for the selection of the candidate in the final merit list.

Internships, trainings apprenticeships are not considered as valid work experience for consideration in MBA admission at NMIMS. Work experience of the candidate of more than one year in a company that is listed in both the GSTIN and TAN databases is considered valid. The work experience only after completion of graduation is given weightage in the final merit list.

The official website of NMIMS does not explicitly state any reservation policy for Kashmiri Migrants. The latest admission handout does not mention any quota for Kashmiri Migrants.

NMIMS does not reserve any seats for ST/SC students in its MBA program. NMIMS is a private deemed-to-be-university. Its admission process for MBA programs is not governed by the standard reservation policy that is followed in government universities.

The MBA (general/core) has the highest seat allocation among all MBA programs at SBM NMIMS. The number of seats allocated to this programme is 600. MBA HR and MBA Business Analytics are allocated 120 seats each at SBM NMIMS.
