Hi, facing a similar dilemm last year, quite a few of us have chosen SIBM B. Being offered a general MBA here, it is not a super specialized course like international business. This is totally dependent on your personal choice. But if you look at placement, growth and location being Bangalore you get a decent exposure.

Which one is better cant be said as it depends on many factors most important being what you are looking from an MBA institute. SIBM-B since its start has done incredibly well and secured a place for itself. Its on an upward trend for that matter. You are graduate. If your graduation score is 50% or more then you are eligible to to give exams such as CAT, SNAP, NMAT, XAT, etc. Your admission will be dependent on your score of these exams. Placement will be dependent on your overall performance in MBA b-school.

Hi Anurag,
As far as I know SIBM Pune does not offer a course in Communications.If you are referring to SIMC then MICA is a better choice any day. Visit the websites of both the colleges and you will get a clarity. http://www.mica.ac.in/

Congratulations on getting a call. The weightage for different rounds is given on website. Yes you definitely have a chance if you perform well. There are a quite a few students with this range of percentile in the current batch.

Work exp will give you an extra edge in GDPI however there is no weightage officially for the same but yes it gives you an advantage over others in GDPI as well as in placements

All the specializations have equal weight age in terms of importance. So HR is given equal focus at SIBM-B. We have some major players who come for placements for the HR profiles.
