SIIB Pune and SCMHR Pune both the colleges offer a two-year MBA programme. Based on the rankings of the business schools; SCMHRD Pune ranks higher than SIIB Pune. The average package of the MBA batch at SIIB Pune stood at INR 13.51 Lacs and the highest package was INR 24 lakh. The average package of the MBA batch at SCMHRD Pune was INR 13.24 lakh. Both the colleges are esteemed as good Business Schools.

As the placement opportunities in Finance and HR are generally stronger compared with SIIB Pune, 100% placement is typically achieved at NMIMS, Bengaluru. The latest information available for 2024 shows that an average offer of INR 14.11 LPA resulted along with a the highest at 43.25 LPA while, the finance sector participation during the placement season saw leading recruiters such as Accenture and HSBC. Whereas SIIB Pune has a strong reputation, the placement statistics and recruiter diversity cannot be matched with NMIMS. Thus, for finance and HR, NMIMS Bengaluru is the better choice.

Both institutes SIIB Pune and SIMC Pune are affiliated with Symbiosis International University. The SIMC Pune offers an MBA programme in Communication Management, whereas the SIIB Pune offers MBA courses in three specialisations i.e., Agri-Business Management, International Business, and Energy & Environment. Both institutes offer very different specialisations. Hence, it is hard to compare which one is best. Candidates can choose the institute according to their interests and career goals.
