Fergusson College briefly known as FC, and Symbiosis School Of Economics for short SSE are both suitable centers for B.Sc degree. Though both have their unbeaten advantages, SSE is costlier than FC, the fee structure in INR of SSE is approximately INR 2.5-3 Lacs per annum while FC is around INR 10000-20000 per annum. Talking about the placements, SSE is a little better with an average remuneration package of approximately INR 6-7 Lacs per annum than FC's average remuneration package of INR 4-5 Lacs per annum approximately. Seemingly, there is no information about the latest cutoff details in getting admission in B.Sc in Symbiosis School of Economics. Nevertheless, the prerequisites for a candidate to enroll for the B.Sc Economics (Hons)program include passing of Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from an acknowledged board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45%Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).The absolute minimum Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET ) cut off percentage for the course for general category would be approximately 89-90

Symbiosis School of Economics BSc course is a four-year programme (including research) with multiple entry and exit options. The course structure is divided into semester-pattern. In the first year of the programme, candidates have to study a diverse range of subjects ranging from discipline-specific courses/ major courses compulsory, multidisciplinary courses, AECC, skill enhancement and common values added courses. In the third semester, candidates must also opt for vocational courses if they want to exit the programme after the second year with a diploma.

Symbiosis School of Economics Personal Interview round takes place after the declaration of SET result in the month of May. According to the last year dates released by the institute, the shortlist for Personal Interview is declared on May after which candidates can book the PI slot. Symbiosis School of Economics will conduct the PI in the online mode which is set to be scheduled in June.

According to the admission dates released by SSE Pune for BSc, the first merit list will be announced soon. Once all the merit list will be announced the BSc programme classes.
