Symbiosis School of Economics BSc course is a four-year programme (including research) with multiple entry and exit options. The course structure is divided into semester-pattern. In the first year of the programme, candidates have to study a diverse range of subjects ranging from discipline-specific courses/ major courses compulsory, multidisciplinary courses, AECC, skill enhancement and common values added courses. In the third semester, candidates must also opt for vocational courses if they want to exit the programme after the second year with a diploma. 

Candidates seeking admission to BSc at Symbiosis School of Economics must separately apply for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and SSE Pune. Symbiosis School of Economics BSc application fee is INR 1,000 which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The registration fee for SET is INR 2250 per test which is also non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme offered at Symbiosis School of Economics must appear for the entrance examination as the institute does not offer direct admission to any candidates. SSE Pune accepts the rank and scores of Symbiosis Entrance Test. Candidates who clear the entrance stage are further called to appear for the Personal Interview round.
