Hi. B.E/B.Tech eligibility criteria at Tagore Engineering College:
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the college office.
Eligibility: + 2 or equivalent, as per norms and guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu/Anna University and AICTE for UG courses.

Hi.B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science turned out to be the most sought-after course to get admission at Tagore Engineering College for the General AI quota. The last round cutoff of the course was 79323 in 2024. During the Tagore Engineering College cutoff in 2023, the closing cutoff was 69299, while in 2022, the cutoff stood at 84180. For the OBC category students, the TNEA last-round cutoff varied between 117124 and 182251.

Hi. The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will start the B.Tech and B.Arch application process for TNEA 2025 in May 2025. The last date to apply for TNEA 2025 wwill be in June 2025 and the last date to complete document upload is a few days after that.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Tagore Engineering College offers BTech, MTech, and MBA courses. Admission to the BTech, and MBA courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the entrance exams such as TNEA, TANCET, etc. Admission to MTech is done directly based on the scores obtained in the previous qualifications. You can also get direct admission under Management Quota.

Hi. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech/ B.E course is passing 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 45% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics combined. Selection of candidates for admission is done based on marks obtained in the last qualifying exam through TNEA single window counselling. Thanks
