In case you are unable to attend a Tamil Nadu 10th board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.

Students must go through the points below to avoid the Tamil Nadu SSLC board exam-day hassles:
- All communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pagers, fitness bands, cameras, etc., are barred from carrying to the examination hall.
- Accessories like wallets, goggles, handbags, and purses are not to be carried.

There is no reduction in the TN 10th syllabus 2026. The Tamilnadu SSLC Syllabus is available in pdf format. Students planning to appear for the Class 10 TN exam are advised to go through the syllabus. They can download the syllabus and refer to it during their preparation for TN SSLC exams.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu will release the TN SSLC supplementary result 2026 in July 2026. TN SSLC supplementary result 2026 will be published on the official website -tnresults.nic.in. Students can check their Tamil Nadu SSLC supplementary result 2026 using roll number and date of birth. TN SSLC supplementary exam 2026 will be held in June 2026. TN SSLC supplementary result 2025 was declared on July 31, 2025.
