In case you are unable to attend a Tamil Nadu 10th board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.

Usually TN SSLC exam evaluation is liberal. In 2025, the overall Pass percentage was 93.8%. Most of the students clear the Tamil Nadu SSLC exam. The pass percentage of Tamil Nadu SSLC exam is higher as compared to other boards. Students need not worry about strict evaluation for Tamil Nadu SSLC exam.

Tamil Nadu board is strictly against the practise of using any unfair means during the examinations. The board is actively working to prevent and discourage any malpractice during board examinations every year. Pasting money on a TN SSLC board exam paper would be considered an act of academic misconduct, specifically cheating. If a student is caught cheating during an exam, they could face serious consequences such as failing the exam, failing the entire course, or being expelled from school.

The TN SSLC hall ticket 2024 mentions the details below:

• Roll number
• Date-of-birth
• Exam dates of all subjects
• Exam timings
• Exam centre

Students are advised to carry the TN SSLC admit card 2024 on all the exam days. Those who do not carry admit card, will not be permitted to write the exam.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu will release the TN SSLC supplementary result 2026 in July 2026. TN SSLC supplementary result 2026 will be published on the official website -tnresults.nic.in. Students can check their Tamil Nadu SSLC supplementary result 2026 using roll number and date of birth.
