TN 10th Exam 2021-22: Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has released Tamil Nadu SSLC admit card 2022 for private students on April 20, 2022. Private Students can download their admit card from the official website of the board. Earlier, the board had released SSLC Time Table 2022. The TN 10th exams are scheduled to take place from May 6 to May 30, 2022. The detailed subject-wise TN 10th Time Table 2022 has been published online at dge.tn.gov.in. The pratical exams will be conducted from April 25 to May 2, 2022.

The state baord has conducted revision tests in two rounds. The TN SSLC hall ticket for the examinations is expected to be out in April.Students must visit this page regularly to stay updated for the release of any official notification.

The TN 10th Result 2022 will be released on June 17, 2022.

About TN Education Board

Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu conducts TN 10th examinations every year. Students who have passed their Class 9 from a recognised education board and have studied Class 10 from a school affiliated to DGE, TN can apply to appear for TN SSLC exam. The Board prescribes the books, syllabus, pattern for the exams. Students are advised to go through the complete syllabus and prepare for the exams accordingly. They must also solve, practice and analyse previous years' question papers to score well.

In 2020-21, the Tamilnadu 10th examinations were cancelled in the wake of pandemic situation. All students of TN SSLC were promoted without exams. The TN 10th result 2021 was released on August 23. The results were released on the official website at 11:00 am and students can check the same using their User ID and Password.

In 2019-2020, the TN 10th exams were scheduled between March 27 and April 13 but had to be cancelled in the wake of COVID19 pandemic. The TN 10th Result was released on August 10 at 9:30 am and the students were promoted on the basis of quarterly, half-yearly exams as well as their attendance. 80% weightage was given to marks in quarterly and half-yearly assessment tests, and 20% weightage was given to attendance. The pass percentage last year was recorded at 100% as the Board had decided to promote all students. Among the candidates, 4,68,070 were girls and 4,71,759 were boys.

TN 10th Timetable 2022

DGE TN has released the The TN SSLC timetable 2022 on March 2, 2022. The timetable mentions the exam dates and timings of all subjects. The TN SSLC examinations are expected to be conducted in March/April 2022. 

Last year, the board had cancelled TN 10th board exams 2021 in the wake of the pandemic situation. The timetable was likely to be released in February on the official website. However, the board had decided to cancel the annual examinations for classes 9 to 11. 

TN 10th Admit Card 2022

Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has released TN 10th admit card 2022 for private students on April 20, 2022. Private students can download the same on the official website. The Tamilnadu 10th Admit Card will likely be released on the official website in April 2022. Students will be required to collect the TN 10th admit card from their schools respectively. It is important to carry the admit card on all exam days as no student without it will be allowed to write the exam.

TN 10th Syllabus 2022

The Tamil Nadu Board releases the TN 10th Syllabus on its official website. The TN SSLC syllabus mentions all the important topics a student needs to cover for the preparation of the examinations. Students must be thorough with the entire TN 10th Syllabus 2022 for better preparation of the examinations.

TN 10th Exam Pattern 2022

As per the Tamilnadu 10th exam pattern 2022, a student needs to secure at least a minimum of 35% in the examinations in order to clear them. while the languages papers (Tamil, English, etc) have two papers each, the others including Mathematics, Social Science, among others have only paper each.

The TN SSLC examinations start at 9:15 am as per details given below:

Students must start with the Tamil Nadu 10th Preparations as early as possible. students must be thorough with the TN 10th Syllabus as well as the exam pattern. They must chalk out a study schedule and prepare accordingly.

Tamilnadu 10th Result 2022

DGE TN is expected to release the TN SSLC result 2022 on the official website on June 17. Students can check their TN SSLC Result 2022 through the official website of TN Board using their User ID and password. Follow the steps below to check the results-

  • Click on the TN SSLC Result link
  • The result login window will open on the screen
  • Enter registration number and date of birth in appropriate fields. DOB should be entered in dd/mm/yyyy format
  • Submit details

  • Take a screenshot or a printout of TN board 10th result and keep it safe

Since 2018, TN Board has stopped 'advertising' the names of the toppers to discourage stress among the students. Instead, it announces the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. The same will be updated here for the students' reference as soon as it is released.

Last year, the TN SSLC Result was declared on August 23 on the official website. The examinations were cancelled by the Board due to coronavirus pandemic.
