Tech, you have a reasonable level of competence. Hence, I feel if you push through, there are chances that you will definitely score better in GATE or TANCET. TANCET is not eligible at this year. Yes, scholarships also provided form non TN students but it depends on management. Placement is always good and available for all specialization individually. The total fee will be Rs 260000/- for 2 years.

Scholarship might be based on your performance in GDPI. TANCET cut-off differ from year to year. If your rank is within top 100, you can expect PSGIM as you are general category student.
