Yes, you can get admission to the MBA/PGDM course at Jaya College of Arts & Science in Tamil Nadu without the TANCET exam, but it depends on the specific admission process set by the college. Some institutions, including Jaya College, may offer admission through other entrance exams like MAT, CAT, or through direct entry based on academic performance, especially if you have a good undergraduate degree.

The percentage in the TANCET MCA entrance exam of Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is calculated by the marks obtained in the exam. The total score is normalized, and then the marks are converted into a percentage. The TANCET MCA consists of three sections which include Mathematics, Analytical Ability, and Computer Awareness, and the total marks are usually out of 100. Percentage is determined by dividing the total marks acquired by the candidate with the maximum marks possible then multiplied by 100. Candidates may check the official TANCET notification of the present year for the correct method to calculate.

The fee structure of the MBA program offered through TANCET at D.G. Vaishnav College (DGVC) ranges from tuition fees to examination fees and other fees that include library or lab fees. For the government-aided programs, the average range for tuition fees of an MBA at DGVC is between INR 35,000 to 60,000 per year.

For self-financed programs or evening shifts, the fees might be anywhere between INR 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 for the entire course duration. It is always advisable to get the exact fee structure from the college or some reliable non-college sources for the latest information.
