University of Madras accepts TANCET scores for admission to its MBA courses. This test is conducted by Anna University. The university has released the exam schedule. As per that, Anna University is going to conduct the TANCET 2025 exam on Mar 22, 2025.

Anna University may consider changing the TANCET exam mode from offline to online. Since the exam has fewer audience as compared to other competitive exams, offline exam becomes easy to manage. Candidates prefer an online exam over the offline OMR based exam. The decision with the change in the exam mode shall lie with the conducting body.

Anna University conducts the TANCET exam for MCA and MBA course admission on the same day. However, the shift time for both the courses vary. The table below mentions the TANCET exam shift time for MBA and MCA courses:

The TANCET examination is conducted to offer admission to MBA and MCA courses offered in Tamil Nadu. On the contrary, CEETA PG is a postgraduate entrance examination conducted to offer admissions to postgraduate engineering, architecture, and planning programs, such as M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan. Both the exams, TANCET and CEETA PG, are conducted on a separate day. Therefore, candidates will be issued separate admit card for both the exams.

No, there is no provision of changing the exam centre once Anna University issues the TANCET admit card. Moreover, candidates are not allowed to change the TANCET test centre allotted at any point of time during the exam cycle. Candidates have to choose the prefered test city while filling the TANCET application form. Anna University allocates the TANCET exam centre in the prefered exam city filled at the time of exam registration. Therefore, it is critical to select the test city preference after giving multiple thoughts to it.
