It is imperative that the candidate should have taken at least one exam out of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MH-CET. MAT exams held after in Sep 2021 to Mar 2022 will be considered for admission to the academic year 2022-23. BIIM believes that true talent cannot be judged on the basis of the score granted by any entrance exam. Hence, there is no cut-off bar score below which if the candidate scores cannot apply to the programme. So entrance scores are mandatory.

Graduation in Commerce or Law from a recognized university is required for the Diploma in Taxation. Many institutions also accept applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Art/Science and one year of practical experience in Taxation or related subjects, or those with a Master's degree in Art/Science with one year of practical experience in Taxation or related fields. Candidates with a three-year Diploma and two years of practical experience in taxation or similar subjects will be considered.

Only two colleges provide Diploma in Taxation at Kolkata
North Bengal University
NSOU Netaji Subhas Open University
It's a 1-year Certificate course. Main eligibility 10 +2 qualification but most colleges select through Entrance exam and that is IPU CET. For either of the admission process, candidates are required to fill out the online application form and submit the required documents and application fees beforehand. The admission authorities verify the details of applicants and send them the admission offer letter. So contact these colleges personally for further information.
