Pursuing a B.Ed from Delhi University in 2025 after completing B.A. (Hons) French in 2021 is a very practical route if your goal is to become a French teacher. The gap of a few years does not affect eligibility, as long as you meet the marks requirement (minimum 50% in graduation, 45% for reserved categories).

Why B.Ed from DU is a Good Choice

  • Eligibility: Your B.A. (Hons) French qualifies you for B.Ed, since DU accepts graduates from recognised disciplines.
  • Specialization: You can choose Language Education (French) as your teaching subject.
  • Recognition: DU's B.Ed is NCTE-approved, making you eligible for CTET, State TETs, and schoo

With only an MHA (Master of Hospital Administration), you cannot directly become a lecturer in a nursing college in Kolkata. Nursing faculty posts require an M.Sc Nursing degree recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC). However, with MHA you may qualify for teaching roles in hospital administration, health management, or allied health programs, but not core nursing subjects.

Lecturer Eligibility in Nursing Colleges (West Bengal)

  • Minimum Qualification:
    • M.Sc Nursing in a recognized specialty (Community Health, Child Health, Mental Health, Cardiovascular, Obstetrics & Gynecology, etc.).
    • Regis

Yes, you can become a government teacher after completing BEd from any NCTE-approved college. You need to qualify exams like CTET, State TET, or DSSSB, not your college ranking.

As a teacher trainer, you may want to check these institutions.

For CTET, you have:

  • Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad, its constituent colleges in Bhopal and Bihar. They are College of Teacher Education, Darbhanga (Bihar), and College of Teacher Education, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). These have intensive coaching programmes for CTET and TET.
  • The Residential Coaching academies in central universities, such as Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, BBAU in Lucknow, and AMU in Aligarh. They offer training for civil services and other competitive exams.

For state CET, there are specialised training/coaching centres lik

Yes, a person who completes a B.P.E. (Bachelor of Physical Education) course from Odisha can become a Physical Education Teacher (PET) in schools. Many schools allow candidates with 10+2 and B.P.Ed./B.P.E./M.P.Ed. qualifications to apply for PET positions. However, for government school jobs, candidates may also need to qualify exams like OSSTET or OTET depending on the level of teaching.

Similarly, universities such as Lovely Professional University offer B.P.Ed. programs that prepare students for careers as physical education teachers, sports trainers, and fitness instructors in schools and sports institutions.

If you want to do a Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTT), the best way to start is by enrolling in a 200-hour yoga teacher training program, which is considered the basic certification for becoming a yoga instructor. This course usually covers asanas (postures), pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology.

Most yoga teacher training programs are open to beginners as well as regular practitioners, so you don't necessarily need advanced experience in yoga before joining. The main requirement is a genuine interest in yoga practice and willingness to follow a disciplined training schedule.

When choosing a course,
