The M.Ed Distance Education programme is designed and developed jointly by the Distance Education Council (DEC) and National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) is a two-year programme offered through an open and distance learning (ODL) system. Yes, you can do it directly. For M.Ed eligibility criteria is B.Ed in majority of Indian universities. For M.Ed eligibility criteria is B.Ed in majority of Indian universities. Therefore, you can not do M.Ed after M.Com.

In order to pursue M.Ed one should meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria: General candidates need to secure a minimum of 50% to 60% marks in graduation courses from a recognised university. The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year for the selection of candidates for assistant professor posts in the university and colleges, to pursue the Ph.D. and for JRF award. The candidates are allowed to apply UGC NET for the subject in which they have completed the post graduation degree or if the subject is not available they can apply for the related subjects.
